Understanding Anti-Facism
A quick note about the history of "antifa" and a link to historian Timothy Snyder teaching us about it
If you are not following along with Timothy Snyder, a historian of tyranny and facism in the 20th and 21st century, I highly recommend it. He helps me understand what is happening in our political moment here in the United States by looking back through history to point to similar situations and how they played out.
Below is a video from his substack really drilling down on what “antifa” as a philosphy is, its history back to Nazi Germany, and how it impacts the recent US presidential “roundtable” that just occured last week.
